Funshine Festival starts today!

Check out our vendor village and shop away in the shade under our Jumbo Funshine Shopping Mall tent which is adjacent to the Corona Extra Stage. We will also be selling Funshine Festival t-shirts!

The Amphitheatre stage will feature acts like Train, Phillip Phillips, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Gary Allan, Kix Brooks and more, all under a covered pavilion of 10,000 seats!

The Budweiser stage, our second largest stage, is located inside the 8,000 capacity Expo Hall and will have performances by Smashing Pumpkins, Cheap Trick, We The Kings, Josh Thompson and The Wallflowers!

Tour the festival grounds, in comic book style, in the original Batcopter from the “Batman” TV series!

We will have multiple covered beer gardens located throughout the Midway and a variety of food tents for you to enjoy an array of cuisines! Some of the beers we are offering are Goose Island, Stella, Shock Top, Kona Longboard, Red Hook Longhammer, Ultra, Bud Platinum & Black Crown and Corona Light, Bud & Bud Light.

Relax in the climate controlled Waterfront Café, a covered piano bar and jazz lounge, conveniently located west of the Expo Hall on our inner lake.

Just added! New Sports Beer Garden! Come on out for all the fun and you won’t miss a minute of the Playoffs, Kentucky Derby or even a lap at Talladega!

REO, Styx + Ted Nugent Donating Proceeds From Concerts To Boston Marathon Bombing Victims

Classic Rockers Styx and REO Speedwagon – along with tour mate Ted Nugent – have come to the rescue once again. The heartland rockers will donate a portion of their proceeds from their current Midwest Rock N’ Roll Express tour to victims of the recent Boston Marathon bombings.

At every stop of their tour, all three acts will sign a guitar for a silent raffle via Styx’ Rock to the Rescue organization.

We can’t wait to see them Rockin’ the Midway at Funshine Festival on Sat, May 4th!
